What this site does not do
- It sets no cookies and uses no cookie banners, because there is nothing to consent to.
- It runs no advertising scripts and builds no user profiles.
- It embeds no third-party fonts or content delivery networks. Fonts are served from this domain.
- It contains no contact forms and stores no data you enter, because there is nothing to enter.
Visitor statistics
To see which guides are read, the site uses Rybbit, an open-source, privacy-focused web-analytics tool, on an instance operated by the author (rybbit.ai-solutions-for-lawyers.com) rather than by a third-party analytics company. It works without cookies and without storing anything in your browser, does not track you across other websites, and records only aggregate data: the page visited, the referring site, the country, and the browser and device type. Visitor counts are derived from a hashed, daily-rotating identifier, so individual visitors cannot be identified or re-identified from the data. This processing is based on the author’s legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in understanding how the site is used; because no cookies are set and no personal profiles are built, no consent banner is required.
Server logs
Like every website, this site is delivered by a hosting provider whose servers may record standard technical data (IP address, time of access, requested page, browser type) in server logs for security and operational purposes. Links to other sites
The site links to the course platform Maven and to external sources cited in the guides. Once you follow such a link, the privacy policy of that site applies. Maven’s privacy policy is available on maven.com.
If you contact the author by email, your message and address are used only to respond to you and are handled under the applicable law-firm confidentiality and data-protection rules.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and comparable laws you have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because this site stores no personal data that can be linked to an individual visitor, most of these rights will in practice have nothing to act upon — but they exist, and you can exercise them via the contact details on the imprint.
